FASHIONABLE STEPMUM CELEBRATES SON’S TRADITIONAL RITE OF PASSAGE

Renowned content creator, Catherine Kariuki popularly known as Fashionable Step Mum, recently shared the importance of tradition within her family, particularly during a milestone celebration for her son Shawn.

In a social media post, she talked about the significance of rites of passage in her household, stating, “In the Kariuki household, tradition is non-negotiable. It was heartwarming to witness Shawn’s journey from boyhood to manhood 🤎.” 

The content creator fondly looked back on her experiences guiding other boys in similar rites. “It also brought a sense of nostalgia as I reflected on how many boys I’ve had the privilege of guiding over the years.” She invited her followers to share their thoughts, asking, “Do you embrace tradition in your homes? Let me know which ones.” 

 In a past interview, Fashionable Stepmum and her husband,  (Rtd) Major Michael Kariuki opened up about their blended family journey. Major Kariuki had four children from his previous marriage, and together with Catherine, he shares two, a biological child and an adopted one.
