KRG THE DON ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT FROM MUSIC INDUSTRY

Musician Karuga Kimani also known as KRG the Don has announced his retirement from the entertainment industry.

In a statement shared on his Instagram page, KRG stated that he was done with the entertainment industry. “That phase of my life is done nimemalizana na entertainment (music, showbiz, influencing, controversy & series) I enjoyed every single moment from online fights, vipindire mingi pia high and embarrassing situations,” he wrote.

The musician also announced plans to venture into politics in 2026. “I wanna spend my time doing better things (God, myself, family, business & education) as I transition to politics polepole tu!! My silence will be as loud as the noise was until 2026 time ya campaigns tukifanya siasa safi. 

Kwa wale tuko na pending business tukutane nyuma ya tent tumalizane chini ya maji ndio tukue in good books coz our future together is so bright. All those who supported the “movement” Mungu azidi kuwabariki sana nyinyi ni watu wa power sana miaka mia sita hamsini.”
