‘I PAID FOR MY MISTAKES’ AMBER RAY DEFENDS HERSELF AGAINST ONLINE INSULTS

Reality star Amber Ray has responded to online criticism after sharing her opinion about Annie Idibia’s divorce. 

Taking to her platform, Amber revealed that some individuals have flooded her direct messages (DMs) with insults, accusing her of hypocrisy and bringing up her past as a second wife. “It’s crazy how some people are flooding my direct message (DMs) with insults just because I aired my opinion about Annie’s story. I have been called a hypocrite, accused of making other women cry because I was once a second wife. Let me remind you of this. I’ve shared my truth openly.” Amber clarified.

She said that she has never shied away from owning her past, adding that she has openly shared her story on YouTube to help others understand her journey. “Yes, I was married twice as a second wife, but the truth is I didn’t know they were married. I was lied to, used, and left to cry, carrying all the blame, a blame I took as a lesson.” 

Amber added, “I’ve paid for my mistakes, owned my truth, and moved forward to live my best life unapologetically.” The reality star is disappointed with how society often justifies men’s actions while vilifying women, even when they are victims of deception.

“It’s sad how society loves to justify men’s actions when they cheat but is quick to attack women. No one can make me feel bad about my past anymore. I’ve healed, I’ve grown, and I refuse to carry shame that isn’t mine. If you’re in my DMs with negativity, save yourself the energy. It won’t break me. Let’s focus on holding the right people accountable and supporting each other to grow and heal.”
