TALLIA OYANDO BIDS FAREWELL TO CITIZEN TV AFTER 8 YEARS
After an incredible eight-year journey as the host of One Love, Tallia Oyando has announced her departure from Citizen TV.
The celebrated media personality steps away from the platform that has been her home for nearly a decade. “These words by Bob Marley have been my anthem, my guide, and my solace. Today, they carry a bittersweet truth as I say goodbye to an incredible chapter of my life with Citizen TV.”
Tallia thanked the Citizen TV family, her loyal audience, the One Love crew, who have made her journey unforgettable. “To the Citizen TV family and my one love crew, thank you for giving me a home, for believing in me, and for treating me as family. To my fans, you have been my heartbeat. Your loyalty and love carried me through, and I will never forget it.”
Reflecting on the power of reggae music and its ability to unite, uplift, and inspire, she added, “As Joseph Hill of Culture reminds us, ‘Love shines brighter than the morning sun,’ and your love has been my guiding light every step of the way. You tuned in every week, sang along to every anthem, and made this a platform more than a show. You made it a home.”
While this marks the end of her time on One Love, Tallia told her fans that her journey in music and entertainment is far from over. “As Bob Marley said, ‘Don’t forget your history nor your destiny.’ While this chapter is closing, I promise you, our story is far from over. There are even greater things aligned, and I can’t wait to share them with you.”
Tallia leaves her audience with a powerful message of unity, “Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds. Let the music keep freeing your spirit, lifting your soul, and uniting us all. This is not a goodbye; it’s a celebration of music, memories, and the family we’ve built.“
