VANESSA CHETTLE SPEAKS OUT ON FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS IN HER NAME

Kenyan social media personality Vanessa Chettle has broken her silence after a months-long absence from her platforms, addressing a troubling situation involving fraudulent transactions made in her name. 

In a post, Vanessa revealed that she had been unaware of the scam until recently regaining access to her social media accounts. “Hey guys! Lakini guys mbona life ni unfair. So the last time I’ve been in contact was a few months ago, I haven’t had access to my socials until recently only to return and find out money has been received continuously to this Till no 4857008. I’m truly sorry to everyone who got duped and actually supported me not knowing that in the past few months I haven’t gotten a single cent.”

She went on to apologise to her followers who had sent money in good faith, believing they were supporting her during a difficult time. She urged anyone who had made transactions to reach out to her via direct message and also requested legal advice to address the situation. “Kindly DM any transactions made also I’m open to legal advice coz si poa! I was getting evicted and someone somewhere ameongeza kitambi ,” she added.

The socialite also shared uplifting news about her spiritual journey. “Anyway onto positive news, I’ve met some amazing people who’ve not only given me immense therapy but also got me back closer to God doing bible study groups and much more! We are forever grateful ata watu wakue na roho chafu aje,” she wrote.

Vanessa ended her message asking her followers to refrain from sending any more money until she resolves the issue. “Please don’t use till any more money as I find a way to handle this injustice. Lots of love and light .”
