ANERLISA MUIGAI CONDEMNS KENYANS CELEBRATING THE DEATH OF WAFULA CHEBUKATI

By  |

Businesswoman Anerlisa Muigai has called out Kenyans celebrating the death of former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson, Wafula Chebukati, who passed away.

In a statement, Anerlisa urged Kenyans to show respect and empathy during this difficult time. She described the act of mocking or celebrating someone’s passing as ‘disgusting,’ regardless of any perceived  controversies during their lifetime. “Feeling disgusted by people making jokes over Chebukati’s passing,” Anerlisa stated.

Y’all forget that he was a father, a husband, a grandfather, a friend, an uncle, a leader, and more. Why would anyone laugh or mock him? Death is deeply personal and sensitive. People should be respectful, especially because there are families mourning him. RIP sir.”
