DR. CATHERINE MASITSA ON BAHATI SHOOTING HIS MUSIC VIDEO FOR ADHIAMBO IN HER HOUSE

Reality TV star and businesswoman Dr Catherine Masitsa aka Dr. C, known for her role in The Real Housewives of Nairobi, has opened up about hosting celebrated Kenyan artist Bahati for the shooting of his hit song Adhiambo at her home. 

In an exclusive interview with Cheptoek Boyo on Buzz Central Podcast, Dr. C shared insights into the behind-the-scenes details of the video shoot, which took place at her property during its construction phase. “I had actually moved in, but it was still a construction site. This was the sample house,” Dr. C explained. “I like Bahati so much. It was a friendly gift, even Diana (Bahati’s wife) had her birthday here. I was renting it out for small, little events because I couldn’t move in with a five-year-old. It was still a construction site and not entirely secure, but now all the homes are sold because it’s a gated community.”

Dr. C, who has become a household name for her glamorous lifestyle and business acumen, talked about her admiration for Bahati and his family. “Bahati is my good friend. I like them just like everybody else. They’re really trying, and they seem to be getting very good. He has gotten really good at what he’s doing, and that’s why I like him so much. He is literally a Kenyan success story, whether we like it or not. And there’s no road map—everybody has their own road map.”

The music video for Adhiambo featuring Prince Indah has garnered over 32 million views on YouTube, was shot at Dr. C’s property, showcasing its unique architectural design and luxurious ambiance.
