JOSE CHAMELEONE TO UNDERGO PANCREATIC SURGERY IN U.S.

Ugandan music icon Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Jose Chameleone, has shared an update on his health after being hospitalized in the United States due to medical complications. 

In a video posted on his social media platforms, the legendary singer revealed that he is currently preparing for pancreatic surgery following a recent health scare.

Speaking from his hospital bed, Chameleone assured his fans that he is in good spirits as he awaits the procedure. “In hospital for my surgery, I thank you all for the love and prayers. All will be well in Jesus’s name.”

Chameleone traveled to the U.S. in December 2023 to seek specialised treatment after being discharged from Nakasero Hospital in Uganda. Over the past weeks, his condition had shown significant improvement under the care of doctors at Allina Health Mercy Hospital. However, he experienced a sudden setback, leading to his readmission.

The singer is now scheduled to undergo surgery, after which he plans to take a three-month break to focus on his recovery.
