‘SHE IS HAPPY’ SKYLANTA ADDRESSES BREAK UP RUMOURS WITH ANNE KANSIIME 

Renowned Ugandan comedienne Anne Kansiime and her partner, musician Skylanta, have found themselves at the centre of break up rumours following a cryptic Instagram post shared by Kansiime on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

In her post, Kansiime shared a photo with the caption, “One day, somebody you sacrificed so much for will turn around and say they never asked for it, and it will hurt because they will be right.” She accompanied the image with a personal message, “And that day has come for me. But regardless, we move. Love must be loved. I am love. Today marks a new era for me. 16th Feb 2025.”

The post quickly went viral, with many interpreting it as a sign of trouble in her relationship with Skylanta, who is also the father of her child. 

Skylanta took to his social media platforms to clarify the situation, stating: “I came back online and found a lot of fire. Social media in-laws, it is not that deep. You can’t wake up and abuse someone because you’ve heard a rumour or suspected that something might have happened. When we started this, none of you were there, yet somehow it ended up here. Between me and Anne, we know how to deal with what is happening. She is happy, and I am happy. I don’t know why you are accusing me.”

He also addressed speculation surrounding his song Ex, clarifying that it was not directed at anyone specific. “My song Ex was highlighting things that happen in relationships. It was not directed at anyone in particular,” he explained.
