SINGER NJERAE OPENS UP ABOUT STUDYING PSYCHOLOGY, CHALLENGES & NEW EP

Singer Njerae, recently sat down with Cheptoek Boyo on the Buzz Central Podcast for an exclusive interview, where she shared insights into her music career.

Njerae revealed her decision to study psychology. “Music has consumed my everything, and I am happy where I am at,” she said. “When I studied psychology, it was not for the purpose of practicing it. It was just for understanding. I wanted to dive into the world of music therapy. I didn’t want to do it without understanding what it requires. It also helped with the songwriting. I just love understanding human nature.”

However, Njerae’s rise to success hasn’t been without its challenges. She candidly discussed the hurdles she has faced, particularly the rapid growth of her career. “The rate of growth has been the biggest challenge,” she admitted. “There are many things that come up when there is rapid growth. You have to figure out how to keep up, and it has taught me how to always be prepared.”

The musician is set to release her upcoming EP Four Letter Word on Valentines Day.
