JANET MBUGUA ON CHILDHOOD FRIENDSHIP WITH SANAIPEI TANDE 

Media personality and actress Janet Mbugua has opened up about her long-standing friendship with musician Sanaipei Tande. 

In a recent interview with Cheptoek Boyo on Buzz Central Podcast, Mbugua reminisced about her early years growing up in Mombasa, where she and Sanaipei were neighbours and close friends. “I have known Sanaipei since we were kids in Mombasa. We grew up together, and she has always been a star. Even at 10 years old, she had this ‘it’ factor that everyone could see. I remember other kids admiring her, and whenever I see her now, I always tell her, ‘You’ve always had it,’” Janet shared.

The duo, who have been friends since childhood, are starring on Netflix series Kash Money. Janet plays the governor on the show while Sanaipei plays Georgina, Joe’s disillusioned wife, is drawn into a dangerous game of deceit as her risky extramarital affair begins to unravel.
