KHALIGRAPH JONES ANNOUNCES RELEASE DATE FOR KHALI CARTEL 5

Kenyan hip-hop heavyweight and trailblazer Khaligraph Jones has officially announced the release date for his highly anticipated project, Khali Cartel 5. 

The single is set to drop on Thursday, March 6, and promises to be a groundbreaking moment for African rap. In a recent social media post, Khaligraph declared, “Khali Cartel 5 will be a display of the highest level of rap to ever come out of Africa, trust #respecttheogs.” 

The Khali Cartel series, a brainchild of Khaligraph, is more than just a music project it’s a movement. Designed to empower and uplift emerging talent, the initiative provides a platform for young rappers to showcase their skills alongside one of Africa’s most respected artists.

The previous installment, Khali Cartel 4, released in November 2021, featured a stellar lineup of rising stars, including Katapilla, Shekina Karen, Murasta, Achicho, Elisha Elai, and Ben-c. These artists were the top six finalists of the Odinare Challenge, a rap competition spearheaded by Khaligraph to discover and nurture the next generation of African hip-hop talent.
