INDUSTRY FRIENDS VISIT NAMELESS MOTHER TO OFFER CONDOLENCES

Veteran artiste David Mathenge also known as Nameless and his family continue to receive an outpouring of love and support following the passing of his father, Joshua Mathenge Snr, who died on April 8, 2025, at the age of 88.

Nameless took to social media to thank fans, friends, and industry colleagues for their heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. “Some industry friends passed by to give mum their condolences. Meanwhile, just want to thank you for all the kind messages of support, compassion, and prayers during this time. My family appreciates it! They go a long way!” he shared.

The Mathenge family will lay their patriarch to rest in a private funeral ceremony on Thursday, April 17. Nameless first announced his father’s passing in a touching tribute, writing, “Rest well Daddy💔❤️. I am blessed beyond measure to have had you as a father! #WithTheAngels #MathengeSnr.”

His wife, Wahu Kagwi, also honoured her father-in-law in a moving post, “My wonderful father-in-love, Thank you for welcoming me into your home with open arms. Thank you for the love, the warmth, and everything that you were. You were an amazing father and guka—kind, strong, and deeply loved. Rest with the angels, Dad. Forever live in our hearts. 🤍🕊️🤍💔🙏🏾😔”
