KASH MONEY STAR DEDAN JUMA BREAKS SILENCE ON MOTHER’S TRAGIC DEATH FROM SPINAL INJURY 

Popular Kenyan actor Dedan Juma, known for his roles in Pepeta and Kash Money, recently shared open up about losing his mother.

Speaking during an appearance on Buzz Central Podcast with host Cheptoek Boyo. Juma reflected on the passing of his mother,  “I wish my mother was here to experience the life that acting has given me,” Juma said. “She lived a life of poverty, and it hurts that she died poor. If she were alive today, I would have taken her out to enjoy good food.“

Juma recounted the painful circumstances of his mother’s final years, revealing that she suffered a spinal injury after falling from a footbridge. “She had anaemia and collapsed during an episode. The fall left her paralyzed, unable to do anything for herself,” he shared.

As an only child, Juma bore the full weight of her care, including the immense financial burden of hospital bills. “It was an extremely stressful time. The medical costs were overwhelming, and I felt completely alone in handling everything,” he admitted.

Despite the hardship, Juma expressed appreciation for the support he received from well-wishers. “I’ll always be grateful to the internet community who came through for us during that difficult period.”
