PRINCE INDAH TIES THE KNOT IN LAVISH TRADITIONAL WEDDING CEREMONY IN MIGORI
Renowned Ohangla artist Prince Indah and his longtime love, Winnie Nyamigori, celebrated their union in a grand traditional wedding (Nyombo) on Sunday, April 13, in Migori.
The event was a spectacular display of Luo culture, love, and opulence, drawing dignitaries, celebrities, and thousands of excited fans. The star-studded guest list included: Celebrities: Jalang’o, Milly Chebby, Terence Creative, Amber Ray, and Oga Obinna among others. Politicians: Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga and Senator James Orengo also attended.
Milly Chebby shared her excitement on social media, “Here to celebrate love first time in a Luo Nyombo guys, culture is beautiful! Congratulations to you @princeindah and @nyamigoriwinnie. Wishing the two of you a beautiful marriage. Let’s enjoy with @maureen_sitonik.”

True to Luo tradition, Prince Indah’s delegation arrived in style, presenting: Two pickup trucks loaded with healthy cows and everal goats.
“Few cows for the dowry we brought them as customary laws dictate. Otherwise, tungeleta tu pesa (we would have just brought money). The entourage has millions in U.S. dollars! The kind of money Prince Indah and friends will leave at Winnie’s parents’ home will significantly impact money circulation in this county. Bahasa iko nono sana (The wealth is massive)!” His close friend Zack Opondo wrote.
