‘SANAIPEI TANDE IS THE BEST FEMALE ACTOR IN KENYA’ DEDAN JUMA DECLARES

Renowned Kenyan actor Dedan Juma, has named Sanaipei Tande as the benchmark for acting talent in Kenya.

Speaking candidly on Buzz Central Podcast with Cheptoek Boyo, Juma praised Tande’s exceptional versatility and emotional depth, citing her performances in Kina and Kash Money as proof of her unmatched skill. “In Kina, personally, I felt her and Jimi Gathu were the only believable characters in that series. They really made me believe who they were,” he said.

He also commended her standout performance in Kash Money, where she played a role but left a lasting impact. “She was acting as a sidechick, but when I saw her depth, I was blown away. It’s hard to get that level of realism from female actors.”

Juma compared her to other top talents, like Celestine Gachuhi, who delivered stellar performances in Selina but maintained the same performance in a Tanzanian production and Kiu series. However, he firmly believes Sanaipei Tande stands above the rest in Kenya’s industry. “When you look at Celestine Gachui she acted well on Selina and once she went to act in a series in Tanzania and Kiu series there is no difference. That’s why I believe is the standard.“
