Ugandan music icon Jose Chameleone, currently in Kenya for medical follow-ups after battling acute pancreatitis, had a meeting with Kiharu Member of Parliament, Hon. Ndindi Nyoro

The Wale Wale hitmaker, took to social media to thank Nyoro for his generosity, “Another beautiful day! Thank you @ndindinyoro for the kindness not only in words but in action… We are Africans, and Africa is our business,” the singer wrote.

The meeting came amid Chameleone’s ongoing health journey, which he described as a divine second chance after years of a fast-paced lifestyle. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the artist opened up about his recent struggles, including emergency hospitalisations and specialized treatment in the U.S. due to complications from acute pancreatitis

He admitted to past excesses drinking and smoking, but vowed to prioritise his well-being. “I have put all that aside for the sake of my life and health. God has given me a new episode. I’m three years from 50, it’s time to slow down.” He credited his survival to faith, calling God his “first healer.”
