GIDEON MOI’S SON JAMES KIMOI WEDS LONGTIME GIRLFRIEND IVY CHEBET IN A GRAND WEDDING

James Kimoi, son of prominent politician Gideon Moi, yesterday tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Ivy Chebet Meli, in a beautiful wedding ceremony held at the scenic Ol Tukai Lodge. 

The high-profile event was graced by former President Uhuru Kenyatta, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, and other distinguished guests. The joyous occasion marked the culmination of a love story that began years ago, with the couple having previously celebrated their traditional union in September 2024. 

At the time, Gideon shared his pride as a father, blessing their union. During yesterday’s ceremony, an emotional Gideon, accompanied by his wife Zahra, said, “My wife Zahra and I are proud as parents watching our son, James Kimoi, exchanging vows today with the love of his life, Ivy Meli, and making a life-long commitment to be a loving, supporting, present, and intentional husband.”

He went on to welcome Ivy to their family, “As a family, we welcome Ivy into our fold. We cherish and adore her as our daughter. May God bless their union and grant them the grace to walk this journey of love together.”
