‘MEN SHOULD NOT MARRY FOR LOVE’ DADDY OWEN’S HARD LESSON ON DIVORCE

Popular gospel musician Daddy Owen has advised men to prioritise purpose over love when choosing a life partner

The artiste made these remarks during an interview on Buzz Central Podcast with host Cheptoek Boyo, he challenged the common belief that love should be the primary foundation for marriage, stating, “I used to think marriage was about love, but as a man, you shouldn’t get married because of love, get married because of purpose. You must know and define your purpose, and that purpose will give you a true north. When the right woman comes, she aligns with that vision, not the other way around.”

He warned couples against entering marriage without clarity, calling it a time bomb. If she comes into your life and both of you don’t know where you’re going, that’s an ingredient for disaster. She should attach to your purpose, and together, that purpose becomes your shared vision.”

The Vanity hitmaker listed high-achieving men as proof of his theory, “Look at most successful people, president Ruto and billionaires like Bill Gates their wives attach to their purpose.”
