MILLICENT OMANGA LOSES SH1 MILLION BET IN UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL

Politician Millicent Omanga has become the subject of social media discussions after losing a high-stakes KSh 1 million wager on Manchester United’s performance in the UEFA Europa League final.

The former nominated senator had publicly announced her bet prior to the championship match between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur at Bilbao’s San Mamés Stadium.

In a Facebook post just before the game began, Omanga praised her team while revealing the details of her wager, “Bet nimeeka leo KSh 1,000,000 na mabossy wangu hapa watatu. Kama kawa Manchester United kichwa na hao wote ni wa Tote. So after 2 hrs lazima nichezee mita nne clean… nimekazaa tu wallahi! Come on,”she wrote.

The match concluded unfavourably for Omanga and Manchester United supporters, with Tottenham securing a 1-0 victory through Brennan Johnson’s first-half goal. 

The politician later returned to social media to acknowledge the outcome, “Mita yangu moja imeenda tu hivo, nimetii! Good night wakurugenzi.“
