The family who were on vacation in Uganda decided to visit Kenya by road before flying back to the U.S. “The pace was faster and the people we met felt swept up in constant motion,” the family observed. “It reminded me of home…back in the States. That familiar hum of urgency, the sense that if you stop, you might fall behind.”

The vlog captures their surprising self-awareness, where the couple recognise the pace of Kenya being faster than Uganda, “I caught myself matching that rhythm… not because I needed to, but because it felt instinctive and honestly, it felt…normal. And that made me pause because after experiencing Uganda, I was asking myself, “Should that kind of pace feel normal?“

The family promised to be back in the country, “Kenya is vast layered with places, people, and stories we’ve yet to know. We’ll be back open, expectant, and hopeful…ready to experience the Kenya that so many speak of with love.”
