BAHATI URGES PUBLIC TO PRAY FOR MULAMWAH AND RUTH K AMID ONLINE FEUD
Musician Bahati has called on the public to pray for comedian Mulamwah and his baby mama, Ruth K, following their highly public dispute.
The couple has been embroiled in a bitter social media exchange, with Ruth K accusing Mulamwah of blackmail and threats involving an intimate video.
In a social media, Bahati said, “I don’t easily comment on people’s affairs, but I don’t rejoice when families are broken 💔. We urge the public to pray for this young couple, and above all, may God restore what they have lost during this drama, heal their hearts, and protect the innocent child. My only request to my fellow parents Mulamwah & Ruth (because I can’t get you on phone)… please get this off social media… it’s sad, but it shall be well in Jesus’ name 🙏.”
The plea comes after Ruth K accused Mulamwah of threatening to leak a private video, “My ex has been manipulating and threatening me with a private video exchanged years ago. He has already sent it to most of my family, including my dad, and he’s threatening to make it public. Since he has crossed that line, let him post it. I will no longer be held hostage and manipulated. Enough is enough.“
Mulamwah had earlier issued threats of his own, vowing to escalate the matter before later retracting his statements and issuing a public apology. “At 9pm no backing off. You circulated my pictures and videos in groups, the ladies were so mature none shared them. You told them to test for HIV. Do you know how much panic there is? You have undressed, now it is time to take a bath. No backing of those chats you fabricated with Lynne and Jane, your neighbours. This is David Oyando, bring them. my pictures that you have shared above, I’m posting a clear one on your son’s page, I fear nothing. Game is game, you do not respect, we take it.”
