ERIC OMONDI MARKS 1-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF BROTHER FRED’S PASSING WITH EMOTIONAL FATHER’S DAY TRIBUTE

One year since the tragic passing of Fred Omondi, the younger brother of renowned comedian and activist Eric Omondi. On his anniversary, Eric took to social media to honour Fred’s memory in an emotional Father’s Day tribute, celebrating his brother’s legacy as a father figure and vowing to continue his mission for a better future.

In a post, Omondi said, “Today marks exactly one year since we lost a legend. We will make you proud. Tomorrow is a better day. I choose to celebrate you this Father’s Day because you were a father to them. As you rest, we will not rest until we see a better day for ourselves, our children, and generations to come.“

Fred tragically lost his life in a road accident along Nairobi’s Bypass Road in June 2024. His sudden passing sent shockwaves through Kenya’s entertainment industry and beyond, with fans and fellow artists mourning the loss of a vibrant soul.
