GOVERNOR SUSAN KIHIKA AND BUSINESSMAN SAM MBURU HOLD DEDICATION CEREMONY FOR TWIN SONS

Nakuru County Governor Susan Kihika and businessman Sam Mburu hosted a prayer and dedication ceremony for their twin sons, Jayden and Jonathan, at their Karen residence in Nairobi.

The event celebrated the twins’ arrival following Governor Kihika’s return to Kenya in April 2025 after several months abroad on maternity leave. Upon her homecoming, the county leader welcomed friends and dignitaries to a joyous gathering in honour of her newborns.

In a post on her official Facebook page on Friday, April 25, 2025, Governor Kihika thanked his friends and colleagues for the overwhelming love and support.”Truly blessed and overwhelmed with gratitude. Was deeply humbled and honored to receive a warm visit from my dear friends who came to welcome me home and celebrate the arrival of my twin babies,” she wrote.

“Your love, prayers, and presence mean the world to me and my family. Thank you for standing with me in this special season of double blessings. Truly, there is nothing like the bond of friendship and support in leadership. God bless you all! Love you all!“

Among the high-profile guests in attendance were: Gatundu North MP Elijah Njoroge Kururia, Kiambaa MP John Njuguna Wanjiku, Senator Veronica Maina, Molo Member of Parliament Kuria Kimani, Nakuru Town East MP Gavid Gikaria, his Nakuru Town West counterpart Samuel Arama and Dagoretti’s Beatrice Elachi.
