LYDIA WANJIRU APPEALS FOR BLOOD DONATIONS AFTER PARTNER FRANK DOSO’S ACCIDENT

Popular content creator Lydia Wanjiru has made an urgent public appeal for blood donors after her partner, Frank Doso who was seriously injured in an accident and requires immediate surgery at Avenue Healthcare Hospital in Kisumu.

Doso, who needs blood group 0+ for his operation, cannot undergo surgery until sufficient donations are secured. Wanjiru took to social media in desperation, pleading, “Please, if you are in Kisumu and can donate, come to Avenue Healthcare Hospital. I’m willing to pay whoever shows up. We are helpless, who knows where blood is legally sold in Kisumu?“

Her emotional post, which included a prayer, “God, if there’s one thing I have ever done that pleased You, let Doso walk in health again” quickly went viral.

Within hours, Wanjiru shared an update, “The power of social media. Thank you to all who have come and are still coming. Doso is in the theater now. We pray for healing and recovery.”
