OTILE BROWN AND BIEN TRADE HEATED WORDS IN SOCIAL MEDIA SHOWDOWN
The Kenyan music scene is buzzing after a fiery online exchange between two of its biggest stars, Otile Brown and Bien, sparked by an Instagram post and a manager’s sudden departure. What started as subtle shade quickly escalated into a full-blown war of words, leaving fans divided on social media.
The drama started when Bien shared the departure Mumbi Maina as Otile’s manager while playing his song “All My Enemies Are Suffering” a move many interpreted as a jab at Otile, he wasted no time firing back, taking to his Instagram Stories with a series rant, “That cow had to comment… international villager! What songs? Those TikTok challenge songs that last two weeks? You can’t win with grace, always want to be seen, commenting on every blog post. You know I can snatch that anytime, right? It only takes my one right move and your one bad move… this is Kenya. You know your people well.”
He didn’t stop there attacking Bien’s image, “Apply oil to your lips that can’t stay shut for a minute. Dress well and stop with the chicken-carrying antics, there’s no authenticity there. Apply cow oil on your skin! Even a Grammy won’t make me recognise you.”
Otile he went on to accuse Bien of being a “crowd-pleasing hypocrite” and questioning his integrity, “At least show concern for the youth before thinking of yourself. Why do you sound like you can’t survive without shady deals? You criticise politicians but support crime and harassment. If you don’t recognise good, don’t pretend to stand for it. Shout to @nviirithestoryteller for good observation.”
