SOFIYA NZAU MAKES HISTORY AS FIRST KENYAN ARTIST TO PERFORM AT TOMORROWLAND

Rising Kenyan musician n Sofiya Nzau is breaking barriers as the first artist from Kenya to grace the iconic Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium, one of the world’s most prestigious electronic music events.

The Mwaki hitmaker joins global EDM superstar Steve Aoki on stage. Nzau’s Tomorrowland performance caps off her first-ever European tour, which has seen her electrify audiences across Amsterdam, Enschede, Berlin, Barcelona, and Paris.

She began with a sold-out show at Amsterdam’s Thuishaven on July 13, 2025, where she delivered a captivating fusion of traditional Kenyan vocals and modern electronic beats. 

Germany has emerged as a key market for Nzau, where she enjoys her largest Spotify audience. Her recent collaboration with German producer Avaion, Her latest single Wacuka, has surpassed 60 million streams, further cementing her international appeal. She is also set to perform at the sold-out Open Beatz Festival, expected to draw over 15,000 fans another testament to her expanding global footprint.
