The celebrated athlete took to social media to share her pride in representing her country and university on the world stage while gearing up for her next challenge, the Billie Jean King Cup.

Silver and bronze at the World University Games. Glad I got to represent my country and my school at the world stage and thanks @kael.shah for the couple of days. We were thriving and grinding on our own, but hey, we still made it to the podium and made history! Now let’s switch focus to Billie Jean King Cup 🔜 #noweakness #WTTA,” she said.

Okutoyi’s latest achievement adds to her growing legacy as one of Kenya’s most promising tennis stars. Her determination was on full display as she battled fiercely to secure podium finishes, further cementing her reputation as a force in international tennis. Having previously made waves as the first Kenyan to win a Grand Slam junior title (2022 Wimbledon Girls’ Doubles), Okutoyi continues to inspire young athletes across Africa.
