UGANDAN MUSICIAN BEBE COOL OPENS UP ABOUT SECRETS TO HIS 23-YEAR MARRIAGE

Ugandan musician Bebe Cool has opened up about the secret to his long marriage to wife Zuena Kirema, sharing wisdom that has kept their union strong for over two decades.

In an exclusive interview with Cheptoek Boyo on Buzz Central, the “Love You Everyday” hitmaker said, “First and foremost is God-fearing,” Bebe stated. “You have to be best friends, because with best friends comes communication. And in any marriage minus communication, it can’t work.“

The ragga artist also added, “Both of you have to sacrifice something for the other. A man has to always understand that the woman owns the home and not just property, but the air. And the woman must understand that a man owns the family. You have to give credit for each other’s side.“

Bebe Cool explained how they manage crisis in the relationship, “When challenges come, our first thought is ‘How does she/he get out of this?’ rather than ‘I got you, you’re dead.’ Me and my wife always choose to find solutions first, then discuss the ‘why’ later. If people follow these principles, the minimum you can last as a couple is 40 years.”

The musician, currently promoting his new album, also stressed the significance of extended family support and mutual care as pillars of their lasting union.
