‘WE WILL SHARE MY SALARY’ DENNIS ITUMBI OFFERS COMEDIAN KAFENGO STATE JOB

Dennis Itumbi has honoured his word by officially hiring comedian Kafengo at his office and pledged to personally cover his salary.

This move follows Itumbi’s public promise to support Kafengo’s talent and contribute to Kenya’s growing digital content space. The comedian, who previously worked with the late KK Mwenyewe, has now joined Itumbi’s creative team, bringing his sharp intellect and academic background in Mathematics with Computing to the table.

“Just met Kafengo, sharp mind, solid guy with a degree in Mathematics with Computing. Expect algebra-level precision as he tackles real challenges in the content creation world. He’s teaming up with Mike (his videographer) to build new platforms with us. For now, we will share my salary and  they will still run their hustle independently. Karibu sana!” Itumbi wrote on his X account.

Days earlier, Itumbi had publicly committed to offering Kafengo a job, recognising his potential in digital content creation. “Kafengo was working with KK Mwenyewe. Many people online suggested we collaborate. I will work with him and give him a job so that he helps us address digital content creation matters. That’s not just a story; he will get a job starting Monday,” Itumbi had declared.
