DIGITAL CREATOR ACHIENG AGUTU TEACHES MUSICIAN CIARA SWAHILI 

Kenyan international influencer Achieng Agutu recently had a viral cultural exchange moment, teaching American musician Ciara some Swahili, Kenyan style! 

The heartwarming interaction, which lit up social media, revealed that Ciara already knew a few words thanks to Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.

When Achieng playfully asked about Ciara’s Swahili skills, the Grammy award winning artist shared, “Diamond taught me the proper way to say rice ‘wali’ and thank you, which is ‘asante.’ Cici knows some Swahili!”

Not stopping there, Achieng introduced Ciara to Kenyan street slang, teaching her the popular greeting “Niaje!” meaning “What’s up?“.
