Real Housewives of Atlanta fan favourite Shamea Morton Mwangi is making cherished family memories in Kenya, introducing her daughter Shiloh to her homeland for the very first time.

The family’s magical getaway includes a visit to the world-famous Giraffe Manor, where they enjoyed an unforgettable breakfast with the gentle giants.

Shamea, her husband Gerald Mwangi, and their daughter Shiloh documented their Kenyan adventure, sharing heartwarming moments on social media.

It’s Shiloh’s first time home in Kenya 🇰🇪, and since @princessshya has been studying Kenya @paceacademy, we had to make Giraffe Manor one of our first stops 🦒,” Shamea posted. “We’ll share pics/videos from our breakfast with the giraffes in the morning! 🥰 Karibu Kenya 🇰🇪”

The getaway comes just days after Shamea and Gerald celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary on July 22, 2025. The couple, who tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Nyeri, Kenya, reflected on their love story in a touching tribute.

I met my handsome hubby Gerald Mwangi on 10-10-2014. ❤️ We got married on 07-22-2017 in Nyeri, Kenya 👰🏾‍♀️🤵🏾‍♂️,”* Shamea shared. “God gives you exactly what you need when you need it 🙏🏾. I had been praying for a man that was God-fearing, kind, patient, loving, hard-working, fun, loyal, family-oriented, intelligent, trustworthy, drama-free… just to name a few. 😂 I was blessed with all of that and more with Gerald 🙌🏾.”
