RAPPER FRENCH MONTANA ENGAGED TO DUBAI PRINCESS SHEIKHA MAHRA

Rapper French Montana is officially engaged to Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a member of Dubai’s royal family. A representative for the rapper, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, confirmed the news to TMZ on August 27.

The proposal took place during the Paris Fashion Week in June. According to his rep, the 40-year-old rapper got down on one knee shortly after making his debut runway walk for the Paradis Spring/Summer 2026 show.

Rumours of a relationship between the musician and the 31-year-old daughter of Dubai’s ruler first surfaced in October 2024. At the time, Sheikha posted photos on her social media showing the rapper on a personal tour of the United Arab Emirates city. The couple made their relationship official this summer, making their first public appearance as a pair by attending several Paris Fashion Week events hand-in-hand.

This will be the second marriage for Sheikha. She was previously wed to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, with whom she shares a 15-month-old daughter. Their separation was announced publicly in July 2024, when she shared a direct message on Instagram that began, “Dear Husband… As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I Divorce You. Take care. Your ex-wife.”
