SAFARICOM HOSTS INAUGURAL INNOVATION DAY FOR BUSINESSES 

Safaricom held its first-ever Innovation Day, an event designed for enterprises, to demonstrate its advanced portfolio of secure, scalable, and artificial intelligence-powered ICT solutions. 

The forum, held in Nairobi on August 27, 2025, was themed “Powering What’s Next: AI, Resilience & Sustainable Innovation.”

The event brought together over 100 senior decision-makers, enterprise clients, and technology partners. Safaricom’s strategic goal of becoming Africa’s leading technology firm within five years. 

Discussions focused on the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity and the Internet of Things (IoT), highlighting the company’s capacity to provide impactful and future-ready digital solutions.

We aim to be a trusted partner for businesses in their digital transformation journey,” stated Frankline Okata, Chief Enterprise Business Officer at Safaricom.
