‘SH200 MILLION’ OKIYA OMTATAH DISCLOSES HIS NET WORTH

Busia Senator and 2027 presidential aspirant Okiya Omtatah has opened up about his personal net worth. 

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV’s The Explainer Show, when pressed on his financials, Omtatah revealed, “It depends on how you calculate it. I own quite a bit of land, which I’ve been buying pieces here and there. I run a transport company with several trucks… If you liquidate the pieces of land I have and other assets, I could put myself at between KSh100 and KSh200 million.”

He further stated that he can account for his money. The Busia Senator also outlined his vision for Kenya should he clinch the presidency in the 2027 General Election. Omtatah said that his first 100 days would focus on dismantling what he termed the “imperial presidency” and restoring constitutional order in the handling of public finances.
