TV DIRECTOR KEN HEMAN ACCUSED OF DOMESTIC ABUSE BY WIFE NYAMBURA MBURU

TV director Ken Heman faces serious allegations of physical and emotional abuse from his wife, acclaimed scriptwriter Nyambura Mburu. 

The disturbing images, shared across social media platforms, show visible injuries and tell a harrowing story that contradicts the couple’s carefully curated public image.

In a social media post, Nyambura detailed years of alleged mistreatment, including violent assaults, psychological manipulation, and infidelity. “I was so young, a blank canvas, it terrifies me to think you just knew what you were doing and I am the one who took too long to catch up… I fought my own family when they told me to leave…

Why did you pick me to just destroy me… to silence me…isolate me…then helplessly abuse me… what joy did it bring when you would kick me out to sleep outside, when I would tremble when you walked in…when I couldn’t even eat because of the fear you instilled in me, what joy did it bring to see me helpless…begging for my life…rushed to the hospital close to death …I didn’t deserve it…”

Nyambura’s went on to add, “Beating me up with electric cables, belts, hangers, I walked down the isle on my wedding day with masked bruises. I lied for years because you made me believe you will change… but that wasn’t enough… the countless affairs… cheating and dishonouring this marriage… I did not deserve that… but even then I survived… only God knows how….”

The allegations have sparked outrage, with close friend and content creator Raych Gitau (Pika na Raych) publicly condemning Heman. “Your hands were supposed to protect the mother of your twins @nyamburamburu but Instead they broke her. I have no place for men like you @kenheman in my life. Friend or brother, If you raise your hand on her, I am officially your enemy. I stand with victims , ALWAYS.
