WILLY PAUL TELLS BAHATI TO FULFIL SH1 MILLION PROMISE TO HARAMBEE STARS
Musician Willy Paul has publicly urged fellow artist Bahati to honour his pledge of Ksh1 million to the Harambee Stars following their historic 1-0 victory against Morocco in a thrilling Sunday afternoon match.
In a social media video, Willy Paul reminded Bahati of his commitment, “Bahati, send that Sh1 million to Harambee Stars they are waiting! I told you not to use it. If you had used it, what would you tell people? Congratulations, Harambee Stars, and keep going like that!” He said.
The promise was initially made by Bahati and his wife, Diana Marua, who vowed to reward the national team with Ksh1 million if they defeated Morocco. The Harambee Stars delivered a spectacular performance, securing a 1-0 win and igniting celebrations across the country.
Adding to the excitement, the musician announced plans to personally deliver the pledged amount to the team at Kasarani National Stadium, “We will be carrying this money to Kasarani, and if Harambee Stars beat Morocco because we have to qualify in every way possible, we will enter the field and give the players,” Bahati stated.
