ELANI’S MAUREEN KUNGA ANNOUNCES HER DEBUT AS A SOLO ARTIST

Maureen Kunga, a member of Kenyan pop group Elani, has officially announced her debut as a solo artist with the release of her new single, Majaliwa.

The song, a soulful ballad, serves as a tribute to her mother, “Majaliwa brings Maureen forward powerfully, bridging the legacy of her Elani past with the freshness of her new sound. Majaliwa gracefully connects Maureen’s legacy with the bold new chapter of her solo journey,“ read the statement.

In a nod to her roots, the recording features the signature vocals of her Elani bandmates, Wambui Ngugi and Brian Chweya.
