‘I DON’T WANT TO GET MARRIED’ WILBRODA ON WHY SHE DOESN’T WANT MORE KIDS

Media personality and actress Jacquey Nyaminde also known as  Wilbroda has openly shared her personal views on marriage and family, challenging conventional expectations.

Speaking in a podcast interview, she explained why the traditional path of marriage and having more children does not align with her vision for her life. Addressing frequent comments from the public about her marital status, Wilbroda stated, “Get married is not something that I want, to say the truth. I always see comments of people telling me I’m too old to get married. But I wonder because I don’t want to get married. I’m so okay.”

She disclosed that her ideal relationship is to live in separate houses with her partner. “If I was to get someone, I don’t think I would not want us to be married. I would want to just have a partner. I know it doesn’t make sense here in Africa, but I know of people internationally, where everyone lives in their own house and on the weekends we hangout.”

She also touched on the practicalities of cohabitation, saying, “First, sleeping with someone in bed everyday for the rest of my life, he is there snoring and farting. I am already used to living alone all these years.” On the topic of children, Wilbroda responded, “I don’t want more kids.”
