KENYAN ACTOR CHARLIE KARUMI LANDS ROLE IN INVASION SEASON 3
Kenyan actor Charlie Karumi is earning his stripes on the international stage in the hit sci-fi series Invasion on Apple TV+, with his character, Sergeant Amoako.
In a recent social media post, Karumi shared his experience training in skeet shooting at the Courtenay & District Fish and Game facility, a skill crucial for his role in the new season. “Sergeant Amoako would be proud of me for this one! 😄 Skeet shooting isn’t as easy as it looks tbh.”
This intensive preparation is for his role in the globally acclaimed series, which depicts Earth under threat from an alien species. The story unfolds through the eyes of five ordinary people across the globe as they struggle to make sense of the chaos unravelling around them. Karumi plays Sergeant Amoako, a character who becomes integral to the human resistance.
The actor announced that Episode 5 of Season 3 is now streaming, teasing fans with, “Oya! Episode 5 of Invasion Ssn3 is up, and me n the squad are shootin’ aliens! 😄👽👽”
