SANAIPEI TANDE TO REPRESENT KENYA AT INTERVISION 2025 MUSIC CONTEST IN RUSSIA

Singer and actress Sanaipei Tande has been selected as the official representative for Kenya at the Intervision 2025 music contest held in Moscow, Russia. 

The contest organisers announced the lineup on their official channels, “This time, the chance to see VDNH and be amazed was given to the representatives of Kenya, Qatar, Venezuela, the UAE, and Egypt. Such different cultures, traditions, and styles yet all of them are united by a passionate love for music and admiration for the beauty of the host city of Intervision ’25,” the announcement read.

Sanaipei, a household name in Kenya known for hits like Mfalme wa Mapenzi will perform alongside other international artistes. The journey to Moscow was set in motion by DJ Pinye, who assembled a team to ensure a world-class performance. Vocal coach Christine Wambui, who is accompanying Tande to Russia, shared her excitement about the opportunity.

“One random day as I was minding my own business, I received a call that opened my mind to possibilities,” Wambui recounted. “Are you healed up and open to travel?’ Those who know me can guess what my answer was… ‘Yeeeesss.’ Anyway, to cut the long story short, @djpinye called me to prepare @sanaipei.tande for a competition and now I am here in Moscow, Russia as a vocal coach.”
