ATHEISTS IN KENYA SOCIETY STAND WITH PASTOR ROBERT BURALE

The Atheists In Kenya Society (AIKS) has announced its position regarding the recent viral interview by Rozinah Mwakideu, the former spouse of Pastor Robert Burale.

In a statement, the Society addressed the allegations made by Mwakideu concerning her past marriage to the pastor. “obviously dealing with a lot of bitterness and resentment, 12 years after her split from Burale. The Atheists In Kenya Society stands with Pastor Robert Burale,” the organisation stated. 

Adding, “Clearly, she hasn’t really moved on. She is a petty, nasty, and vindictive ex who wants to tarnish Burale’s reputation.” The Society urged her to focus on her own emotional recovery. “We urge Mwakideu to work on her emotional healing. She should seek counselling and therapy to speed up healing and forgiveness.“

The AIKS’s statement comes after she shared details of her marriage to Burale in August 2012, which lasted just over a year. She recalled ignoring warnings, including from her mother, who allegedly “saw darkness in that marriage.” She also cited specific red flags, such as a request for Sh250,000 to pay a lawyer’s fee shortly after they met.
