BUSINESS BAY SQUARE OWNER ABDIWELI HASSAN TO BUILD MEGA PROJECT AT TATU CITY

Business Bay Square owner Abdiweli Hassan will build 60 acres of homes, retail, offices, logistics facilities and a mosque at Tatu City Special Economic Zone (SEZ), representing a major shift in investment by one of the region’s leading real estate developers away from the centre of Nairobi.

Mr. Hassan’s developments at Tatu City total more than Sh65 billion and will feature high- quality residential units next to 30 acres of parks and recreation areas, commercial developments, including a petrol station and offices, and warehousing and logistics in Tatu Industrial Park. 

A mosque will be located near homes and schools. The development timeline for the full 60 acres is 10 years, with designs already underway and construction due to commence within one year.
