DIANA MARUA DISTANCES HERSELF FROM BAHATI’S NEW MUSIC

Influencer and musician Diana Marua, has released an official statement distansing herself from her partner Bahati recent music.

In her statement, Marua expressed respect for Bahati’s artistic journey and career choices but made a clear she is focusing on a different path. “I am fully committed to my businesses, my partnerships, and the brands that trust me. That means carrying myself in a way that reflects responsibility, growth, and the values I stand for.”

Marua went on to add, “Out of respect for my family, my partners, and the people who look up to me, I will not be involved in the direction Bahati has recently taken in his music. I believe in supporting one another, but I also believe in protecting my brand and the spaces I’m building. Thank you to all my supporters and partners who continue to walk this journey with me.” Marua stated.

On  September 30, 2025, Bahati made a post on Instagram announcing the end to his 1-year musical break and the introduction of a new era. 

“Welcome to Bahati’s new era,” he captioned the Instagram reel. The singer-songwriter released his new music video for “Seti”, which premiered on his YouTube channel on October 1. The video can be described as explicit, which may not be appropriate for the artist’s younger audience.
