JOSE CHAMELEONE DROPS NEW SONG PRAISING PRESIDENT MUSEVENI’S RE-ELECTION

Ugandan music legends Jose Chameleone and brother Weasel have released a new anthem titled Museveni, championing President Yoweri Museveni’s bid for a seventh term.

The song, accompanied by a vibrant music video on their official channels, is a tribute to the President and the legacy of his National Resistance Movement (NRM). In the video’s description, the artists shared their support by referencing the NRM’s 10-Point Programme, which outlines a continued commitment to restoring democracy and security, consolidating national unity, and defending Uganda’s sovereignty.

The lyrical praise extends to the government’s economic vision, highlighting the pursuit of a self-sustaining and integrated economy, alongside the improvement of essential social services. Furthermore, the artists’ message spotlighted the administration’s stated goals to combat corruption, redress historical inequalities, foster cooperation with fellow African nations and maintain a mixed economic model.
