Popular media personality Oga Obinna has alleged that he was targeted by a rogue unit following his recent interview with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, claiming that President William Ruto personally intervened to call off the threat.

Speaking during a segment of his show, Obinna revealed that he received multiple warnings from highly placed, credible sources about the danger. He stated that a high-profile media personality who was out of the country, alerted him to be cautious and reduce his movements after being informed of the threat by their own sources.

The most important account, Obinna said, came from an external party and a separate individual he described as being a deep state. Both confirmed they were present when President Ruto directly halted the alleged plans.

According to Obinna, the President’s exact words were “Achanani na huyo kijana sasa tukianza kupiga vijana wadogo what exactly are we doing? Hakuna kitu mbaya amefanya, nobody should touch him.’ (Leave that young man alone. If we start attacking young people, what exactly are we doing? He hasn’t done anything wrong, nobody should touch him.)”

Adding, “This was told to me by a very credible person,Obinna asserted. “If he [the President] did not say that, you and I are one phone call away from being gone.”
