TANZANIA’S ATTORNEY GENERAL CALLS FOR THE ARREST OF BLOGGER MANGE KIMAMBI

Tanzania’s Attorney General, Hamza Johari, has called for the arrest Tanzanian US-based blogger Mange Kimambi. In a statement, Johari accused Mange of using her social media platforms for peddle misinformation about Tanzania’s political environment. 

He stated he has urged relevant authorities to collaborate with their American counterparts to facilitate her arrest and return to Tanzania to face the law. Kimambi dismissed the Attorney General’s comments  and the Tanzanian government to state any laws she has violated under US jurisdiction, accusing the government of attempting to silence her voices.

“Look at this fool, kaapishwa leo kuwa Mwanasheria mkuu wa serikali cha kwanza ni kum extradite Mange Kimamb,” Kimambi wrote. “You have killed thousands of young people in Tanzania but you are after Mange and not the killers and the one who sent them to kill them. So stupid,” she wrote.
