Socialite Amber Ray sparked online discussion after revealing her monthly expenses of her Syokimau residence.

During an interview on Radio 47, Amber disclosed her overall monthly budget. “My budget is Sh1.5 million, just to be on the safe side,” she stated. When pressed about her housing costs, she revealed her rent is Sh350,000 per month, a sum that visibly startled the hosts.

The radio presenter immediately questioned her decision, asking why she doesn’t invest in building a house given the steep rental payments. She explained that owning a dream home is a future goal, but for now, she priorities enjoyment and comfort. “We decided that as long as we are living in Nairobi, we will stay in a place that makes us feel happy,” she said, adding that the current arrangement is temporary.
