DILIP PAL HONOURED WITH TRIPLE WIN AT CFO EAST AFRICA AWARDS

Safaricom celebrated the outstanding achievement of its Group Chief Finance Officer, Dilip Pal, who was honoured with three major awards at the CFO East Africa Awards held in Nairobi.

Pal was recognised as the CFO of the Year–East Africa, the CFO of the Year–Kenya, and received the Strategy Execution Award. The awards highlight Pal’s consistent financial stewardship during an important period for the company. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening Safaricom’s financial resilience, driving capital efficiency, and supporting significant strategic investments. 

These investments span the company’s core network expansion, next-generation digital platforms like M-PESA, and its broader evolution into a purpose-led technology company. “We are proud of Dilip for his steady, purpose-led leadership and equally proud of the talented Safaricom teams who turn strategy into impact,” the company stated.
