JULIE GICHURU CELEBRATES 22ND WEDDING ANNIVERSARY WITH HUSBAND

Media personality Julie Gichuru is celebrating her 22nd wedding anniversary.

Marking over two decades of marriage to her husband, Anthony Gichuru, Julie shared a sweet message, “Over 22 years of marriage and a quarter of a century together. I could not be more thankful,” she posted, accompanied by the hashtag #AnniversaryManenos.

On her recent 49th birthday, she acknowledged a year of challenge and growth following a devastating family loss at the end of 2021. “Every part of me is thankful to have been on this epic journey of life,” Julie stated. “My 48th year was tough… but it was also a year of blessings filled with grace, kindness and healing.”

Adding “No one promised this life would be easy but we must never get so lost in the loss, grief and challenge that we cannot see the blessings and give thanks for the opportunities,” she wrote.

Embracing the wisdom that comes with experience, she stated, “As I get older I realise I know less; I ask more questions. I listen more keenly. I make less judgements. I appreciate each new day as a blessing and an opportunity to try to do my best, one more time.“
